What Is PopzPlace TV?

PopzPlace TV is a lightweight, free IPTV player for Android TV, Google TV, tablets, and phones. It plays live TV channels from M3U and M3U8 playlists — the kind provided by IPTV services or locally created channel lists.

No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking. Just a clean player that works.

Requirements

Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer
WiFi or Ethernet connection
An M3U playlist file or URL from your IPTV provider
~15 MB free storage space

How to Install

On Android TV / Google TV (Sony, Chromecast, Shield, etc.)

Download the APK file above to a USB drive, or use a file manager app.
On your TV, go to Settings → Apps → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources and enable it for your file manager app.
Open your file manager (e.g., CX File Explorer), navigate to the APK, and install it.
Launch PopzPlace TV from your apps list.

On Android Phone or Tablet

Download the APK from this page directly on your device.
Open the downloaded file — Android will ask permission to install from your browser.
Tap Settings → Allow from this source, then tap Install.
Launch PopzPlace TV.

Via ADB (Advanced)

adb install PopzPlace-TV-v32.apk

How to Configure

PopzPlace TV supports three ways to load your playlist:

Method 1: Upload Server (Recommended)

Open PopzPlace TV and note the upload address shown in the app, such as http://192.168.x.x:9090.
On a phone, tablet, or computer connected to the same home network, open that address in a web browser.
Upload your downloaded .m3u/.m3u8 file, or paste your provider M3U URL into the web page.
PopzPlace TV saves the playlist and refreshes the channel list automatically.

This is the easiest method on Android TV boxes and media players because it does not depend on the device's file browser or network-share support.

Method 2: Load URL in the App

Paste your provider M3U URL into the text field in PopzPlace TV.
Tap Load URL.
The app downloads, saves, and parses the playlist.

Method 3: Load File

Copy your .m3u or .m3u8 file to storage that Android can browse.
In the app, tap Load File.
Select the playlist with the Android file picker.
Network shares appear only if your device or file-manager/document-provider exposes them to Android.

After Loading

Browse channels by group using the left panel.
Long-press a channel to add it to Favorites.
Use Search to find channels by name.
Use Backup to save/restore your favorites and hidden channels.
Select a channel and tap Play Selected to start watching.

Important This app does not include any channels. You must provide your own M3U playlist from a legal IPTV source.
