What Is PopzPlace TV?

PopzPlace TV is a lightweight, free IPTV player for Android TV, Google TV, tablets, and phones. It plays live TV channels from M3U and M3U8 playlists — the kind provided by IPTV services or locally created channel lists.

No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking. Just a clean player that works.

Requirements

How to Install

On Android TV / Google TV (Sony, Chromecast, Shield, etc.)

  1. Download the APK file above to a USB drive, or use a file manager app.
  2. On your TV, go to Settings → Apps → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources and enable it for your file manager app.
  3. Open your file manager (e.g., CX File Explorer), navigate to the APK, and install it.
  4. Launch PopzPlace TV from your apps list.

On Android Phone or Tablet

  1. Download the APK from this page directly on your device.
  2. Open the downloaded file — Android will ask permission to install from your browser.
  3. Tap Settings → Allow from this source, then tap Install.
  4. Launch PopzPlace TV.

Via ADB (Advanced)

How to Configure

PopzPlace TV supports three ways to load your playlist:

Method 1: Load File (Recommended)

  1. Copy your .m3u or .m3u8 file to your device (Download folder works).
  2. In the app, tap Load File.
  3. Browse to your M3U file and select it.
  4. The playlist loads immediately — channels appear in groups.

Method 2: Load URL

  1. Paste your provider M3U URL into the text field.
  2. Tap Load URL.
  3. The app downloads and parses the playlist.

Method 3: Upload Server

  1. The app shows an upload address like http://192.168.x.x:9090 on its status bar.
  2. From any phone or computer on the same WiFi network, open that address in a browser.
  3. Use the web form to upload your M3U file.
  4. The app receives it instantly — no USB or file copy needed.

After Loading

Important This app does not include any channels. You must provide your own M3U playlist from a legal IPTV source.
